Monkey Pox at the K's House

Monday, June 19 2006.Today was my first day to help the K's House (The yellow building on the top pic is K's House).
From 11am, I learned how to exchange bed sheets, how to clearn rooms & hallways, etc. I do this for about 3 hrs everyday, 5 days a week, then get free accomodation.
...Now I remember that a friend of mine Dr. R in Fukui warned me that Tokyo would be a dangerous city to live. Especially, living and working at the K's House...
He said that I might get Monkey Pox (not chicken pox) after clearning toilets--Of course, I didn't believe such a superstition and I thought he was talking nonsense.
Why? 'cuz I ate lots of Alberta beef when I was in Canada, but didn't get the mad cow disease. I stayed for 1 yr in Fukui, but didn't get the bird flue. So, I wouldn't get the monkey pox at the K's House, I thought...
...But then, after clearning toilets today...this is what is happening to my hand... (see the bottom pic) I haven't got an official diagnose from Dr. R, but this might be the monkey pox he mentioned me...I just don't understand though, my middle finger is offensively survived from this monkey pox...

hi yoko chan, nice blog. your fingers do look a bit reddish but monkeypox virus may take longer to show its symptoms if you are truly infected! Wear your protection --- the rubber stuff, you know, gloves, that is!
the above comment is from kazuko in Canada.
oh good, you got it! i mean, there were friends who took my monkey pox business really seriously and sincirely concerned with my fingers... i meant to be funny, but maybe i suck with making a funny joke...oh boy, oh boy!
